Shanty Creek has an ok mixture of ski slopes and sufficient good ski lifts to serve them all. This ski hill receives snowfall close to the local average every winter. Getting a little bit of pleasant exercise and just being on the ski slopes for a while will make you feel pleasant. Shanty Creek is a full-size ski area boasting a medium altitude difference if compared to other mid west ski hills. The 10 ski lifts here are in magnificent shape. the base zone, but do reserve a room prior to departure because it is a very popular destination. Shanty Creek is a great ski resort with loads of different trails; it's completely out of the question to get bored here. Plenty of skiers go up here from Cadillac,
specially on the weekends.
