| | Good ski hill, I go there a lot with my buddies. There are a lot of other ski hills around here but we keep going back to this one, the other ones are good too we just feel home at this one I suppose. says Brian.
Shanty Creek has an ok selection of trails and a reasonable total of lifts. No other ski mountain for 21 miles has a more sky-scraping drop from top to bottom. There's 400 acres of ski terrain, and it's all in wonderful condition. Shanty Creek |

If you'll be sleeping in a hotel, you're in luck, hotels are available in the neighborhood of the base zone, and if you make reservations prior to departure, you're all set. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a great thing to do during the season.
