All 7 ski lifts at this ski resort are in wonderful condition. This ski area has a much lower than average ratio of advanced and expert slopes and a much higher than average percentage of beginner and intermediate slopes. This ski area obtains lighter than average snow each snow season. With a 225 foot elevation difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other great qualities of Swiss Valley make up for it. and small-size. Swiss Valley is a standard size ski resort having a medium elevation difference compared to other mid west ski hills. The close by lodgings are a bit away from the base area, but you'd better reserve in advance of a trip because these lodgings
| | fill up quick. This ski resort has 11 trails, and they are totally enjoyable. This ski hill gets blanketed by 6 feet of white snow every winter, and that keeps the depth great. The ski map of Swiss Valley on this page of course says a thousand words. You'll encounter many skiers from Kalamazoo-Portage here. This ski hill has a fairly humble set of slopes and an okay pick of lifts. No other ski hill for 23 miles has a more sky-scraping drop from top to bottom. and blue slopes. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are not too many other nice sites for that around here. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is scores of fun during the season. The winter months in Michigan is the most marvelous time of
the year for snowboarding and skiing. Getting your skiing muscles started and just hanging out with your skiing friends are nice incentives to come.

keeping the terrain interesting and excellently groomed. Snowmaking and deicated staff also provide the best kept terrain parks in southwest Michigan. The facilities offer a full service restaurant with food, spirits and live enteratinment most weekends, a cafeteria,
group gathering areas and a separate learning area. Swiss Valley also has very affordable learn to ski and snowboard programs for the entire family.
