Swiss Valley is a mid-size ski resort featuring a medium elevation difference if compared to other mid west ski hills. This ski hill gets less snowfall than the local average every season. All the 11 slopes here are brilliant. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of advanced and expert trails and a much higher than average proportion of green and blue trails. of trails and a good pick of lifts. With a skiable territory of 60 acres, it's small-size enough to get to know all your fellow skiers. A little exercise and spending some quality time in the fresh air will have you coming back for more. Whether you're skiing
| | or snowboarding, in this general region, you won't encounter many other ski hills. The winter in Michigan is truly a fine time of year for skiing and snowboarding. The yearly snowfall of 6 feet keeps the ski slopes well blanketed during the winter. A lot of skiers drive up here from Kalamazoo-Portage, in particular on the weekends. A 225 foot drop is naturally not that much, but Swiss Valley compensates for it by other means. Swiss Valley has the most sizeable drop from top to bottom among ski hills in a 23 mile radius. | |

The nearby lodgings are a bit far away from the bottom of the hill, but do reserve a room before heading out as it is a very popular destination. Swiss Valley is a glorious ski resort for everybody with a lot of green and blue trails for learners. Snowboarding
and skiing in this region is a lot of fun every day of the winter.
