| | All 5 different ski lifts at this ski area are fun to get a ride with. The extraordinary 13 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a glorious ski area. This ski area has a comparatively small range of slopes and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. Homestead has a much lower than average proportion of tough ski runs and a much higher than average percentage of intermediate or beginner slopes. for it with other things. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Michigan is so much fun the whole ski season. A heap of skiers go up here from Traverse City, in particular on the weekends. Homestead is a more petite than average ski area with a vertical drop
