Homestead   This ski hill has a comparatively small selection of runs and a reasonable quantity of good ski lifts. The skiing territory being 16 acres, it's extremely enjoyable and small. All the 15 slopes here are scenic. Homestead has a much lower than average fraction of expert and advanced ski slopes and a much higher than average part of beginner and intermediate runs. There are 5 good ski lifts here, and they are fun to catch a ride with. This is a petite ski mountain     boasting an average drop from top to bottom compared to other mid west ski hills. The incredible yearly snowfall of 13 feet is one of the reasons this is such a great ski area. With a 320 foot height difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but Homestead has so many other great qualities. This is a good ski area for everybody with many easy ski runs for beginners. The seasonal snowfall is roughly average at Homestead. The close by accommodations are a bit far away from the base zone, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up snoozing in your automobile. The wintertime in Michigan is the most glorious time of the year for skiing and snowboarding. This is a popular ski       mountain for skiers from Traverse City. Getting your skiing muscles activated and an opportunity to spend some time in the wilderness attract folks from far and wide. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Michigan is so much fun   all season long.
