This ski hill has a much lower than average part of challenging trails and a much higher than average percentage of green and blue runs. This is a smaller than average ski hill in possession of an average vertical drop if compared to other mid west ski mountains. Homestead has a comparatively small variety of runs and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. There are 5 ski lifts here, and they are capably taken care of and managed by caring folks. Homestead receives an average amount of snow every ski season. The 320

    foot drop is unsurprisingly not that much to brag about, but all the other good characteristics of Homestead make up for it. Lots of skiers journey up here from Traverse City, particularly on the weekends. All the 15 slopes here are good. The amazing 13 feet of
annual snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a great ski mountain. Having a terrain of 16 acres, it's more of a cozy style ski resort. A little exercise and just hanging out with your skiing friends outshines anything. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is so much fun all season long. This is a splendid place for the whole family with lots of beginner and intermediate ski runs. There aren’t any hotels in the neighborhood, but if you're ok to travel a short length then no problem, but do book a

room before heading out in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination.
