Timber Ridge   It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill. says Tim. This ski hill gets covered by less than average snow each snow season. This ski hill has a much lower than average share     of expert and advanced ski trails and a much higher than average share of intermediate or beginner slopes. This is a normal size ski hill with a medium drop compared to other mid west ski hills. A 240 foot drop from top to bottom is unsurprisingly not that much, but Timber Ridge has so many other good attributes. The skiing territory being 50 acres, it makes for a friendly skiing experience. There are 9 different ski lifts here, and they are in good shape. This ski resort has a modest set of slopes and sufficient ski lifts to serve them all. This ski area has 15 ski runs, and they are totally fun. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are scores of splendid spots for that in       close proximity. The close by lodgings are a bit away from the main area, but do book a room prior to departure given that it is a very popular destination. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Michigan is a lot of fun every day   of the ski season. The seasonal snowfall of 5 feet is not very high, but it's okay. Great exercise and just being on the runs for a while will make you delighted you came. You get many skiers driving up here from Kalamazoo-Portage on snowy weekends.
