Timber Ridge ski area, Michigan
|
| | It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill. says Tim.
The 240 foot drop is naturally not that much to brag about, but Timber Ridge has so many other great features. With 50 acres of skiing territory, it's fantastically likable and relaxed. |
|
Every snow season this ski mountain gets 5 feet of fluffy snow, and that doesn’t sound like plenty, but it's quite reasonable. This ski resort has a comparatively humble set of ski slopes and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. The best piece of information

The seasonal snowfall is lower than average at this ski mountain. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is so much fun all winter season long. You get loads of skiers going up here from Kalamazoo-Portage on snow-white weekends. A great workout
and just being on the runs for a while will make you feel great. The wintertime months in Michigan is the most magnificent time of the year for snowboarding and skiing.
