Timber Ridge ski area, Michigan
|
| | It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill. says Tim.
There are 9 good ski lifts here, and they are admirably looked after and managed by caring people. Timber Ridge gets blanketed by less than average snow each snow season. With |

a skiing area of 50 acres, it's fantastically nice and small. Timber Ridge is a mid-size ski hill with an average vertical drop when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. This ski area has a much lower than average share of hard trails and a much higher
| | than average part of easy runs. When this section of Michigan is covered in great snow; it is truly a wonderful time of year for snowboarding and skiing. The 5 feet of white snow that fall here per year is unsurprisingly not outstanding, but not too shaggy either. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are lots of fine sites for that close at hand. Getting your skiing muscles set in motion and getting out of the house for a while tops anything. This ski hill has a humble mixture of runs and an acceptable pick of ski | |

lifts. The best piece of info on this resort is of course the ski trail map of Timber Ridge on this internet page. All the 15 trails here are stunning. The 240 foot vertical drop is unsurprisingly not that much to brag about, but Timber Ridge has so many other
delightful features. You'll stumble upon loads of skiers from Kalamazoo-Portage here. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Michigan is a glorious thing to do every day of the snow season. Timber Ridge is a fine ski resort for everybody with loads of blue and
green trails for learners. The nearby accommodations are a bit far from the base area, and if you make reservations before you go, you're all set.
