| | Treetops ski area Management Says: Treetops is located five miles east of the Alpine Village of Gaylord, Michigan. It receives an annual snowfall of 175 inches, which provides the ideal setting for fantastic Alpine and Nordic skiing. Twenty-three downhill runs wind their way through the majestic hardwood forest that covers the 400-acre winter park. Snowboarders are welcome at Treetops. They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 |

features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a
| | 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert.
