Afton Alps has so many runs, you'll never get bored. Great skiing for the whole family, mainly easy runs but there are a few hard ones too. I recommend this ski area to anyone who likes to ski. says Nancy.

| | lifts at this ski area will get you up the hill efficiently. With a 350 foot drop it's not the tallest hill there is, but Afton Alps makes up for it in other ways. Afton Alps receives lower snowfall than the local average every season. There's 250 acres of skiable area, and it's all in tremendous condition. ski slopes. A great workout and just being on the ski trails for a while attract snow folks from far and near. Afton Alps has a great assortment of ski slopes; it's totally impossible to get bored here. There are magnificent comfortable accommodations here, but
if you don’t have reservations, you will possibly end up snoozing in your vehicle. You get scores of skiers driving up here from Red Wing on snowy weekends.
