With a 500 foot altitude difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other pleasant characteristics of Giants Ridge make up for it. Giants Ridge has the most sizeable height difference among ski resorts in a 40 mile radius. This is a full-size ski resort with an average elevation difference when compared to other mid west ski resorts. Getting your skiing muscles set in motion and getting out of the house for a while are great motives to come. The seasonal snowfall is less than average at Giants Ridge. hills of the Mesabi Range in wintertime are so striking you won’t believe it. This is a good ski hill with a lot of different slopes; it won’t leave anyone bored. No need to hunt hard for hotel rooms, but if you don’t have reservations, you may perhaps end up snoozing in your automobile. striking during snow season; it is truly a fine time of year for snowboarding or skiing. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general neighborhood, you won't locate many other ski hills.
