Giants Ridge

Giant's Ridge is my favorite local ski hill. I know all the people that work there and ski there. says Chris.

With a 500 foot altitude difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other pleasant characteristics of Giants Ridge make up for it. Giants Ridge has the most sizeable height difference among ski resorts in a 40 mile radius. Giants Ridge has a much lower than average proportion of advanced and expert trails and a much higher than
average ratio of beginner and intermediate trails. This ski area has a reasonable variety of trails and enough lifts to serve them all. This ski mountain has 6 ski lifts, and they are well kept up and operated by kind folks. You'll
come across loads of skiers from Duluth here. Having a total of 34 ski trails to ski on; there's a splendid set to gratify everyone. This is a full-size ski resort with an average elevation difference when compared to other mid west ski resorts. Getting your skiing muscles set in motion and getting out of the house for a while are great motives to come. The seasonal snowfall is less than average at Giants Ridge. The 7 feet of wonderful snow that falls here annually
keeps the ski trails well covered during the snow season. There's 202 acres of skiing territory, and it's all covered by great snow. This is a family friendly ski hill with a lot of intermediate or beginner slopes for novices. The
hills of the Mesabi Range in wintertime are so striking you won’t believe it. This is a good ski hill with a lot of different slopes; it won’t leave anyone bored. No need to hunt hard for hotel rooms, but if you don’t have reservations, you may perhaps end up snoozing in your automobile. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is scores of fun the whole winter season. The snow covered hills of the Mesabi Range is a vista worth seeing. Minnesota gets incredibly
striking during snow season; it is truly a fine time of year for snowboarding or skiing. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general neighborhood, you won't locate many other ski hills.
