Mount Kato ski area, Minnesota
|
| | Mount Kato is where I love to ski. No need to go far, just a few minutes and you're there. says Jay.
Mount Kato has a much lower than average percentage of hard ski trails and a much higher than average share of easy trails. The 4 feet of snow that falls here per winter is unsurprisingly not first-rate, but not that shaggy either. Mount Kato has a small variety of trails and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. The 19 ski trails at this ski resort are totally cool. The skiing area being 55 acres, it's petite |

enough to get to know all your fellow skiers. All 8 lifts at this ski hill are cool to catch a ride with. Mount Kato gets less snowfall than the local average every snow season. Lots of skiers drive up here from Mankato-North Mankato, in particular on the weekends.
| | This is a mid-size ski mountain featuring an altitude difference that's roughly average when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. You have to go 60 miles to get to a ski mountain having a greater drop from top to bottom. A 240 foot height difference is naturally not that much, but Mount Kato has so many other magnificent qualities. Minnesota gets exceptionally pretty during ski season; it is truly a tremendous time of year for skiing or snowboarding. If you'll be staying in a hotel, you're in luck, rooms | |

are on hand near the base zone, but do book a room prior to departure in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, in this general region, you'll encounter loads of ski hills. Getting your skiing muscles started
and spending some quality time in the fresh air will make you happy you came. This is a family friendly ski hill with lots of blue and green slopes. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is scores of fun all ski season long.
