Spirit Mountain ski area, Minnesota
|
| | Spirit Mountain has the greatest altitude difference among ski mountains in a 811 mile radius. This is a great ski mountain in possession of a pretty soaring elevation difference if compared to other mid west ski mountains. This ski mountain gets blanketed by snowfall close to the local average every snow season. There's 175 acres of skiable territory, and it's all in good condition. This ski area has 22 slopes, and they are great. All of the 9 lifts make for a peaceful ride up the slope. No shortage of wonderful accommodations, |
|
and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. This ski resort has a somewhat small collection of ski runs and an okay choice of great ski lifts. This ski area has 8 feet of great snow yearly, and that keeps the slopes well covered throughout
| | the ski season. The winter in Minnesota is so beautiful for skiing or snowboarding. This ski resort has a much lower than average part of tough slopes and a much higher than average ratio of intermediate or beginner ski runs. With a 700 foot drop it's not the highest hill there is, but Spirit Mountain compensates for it by other means. This is a popular ski hill for skiers from Duluth. This is a perfect ski area for young and old with a lot of beginner and intermediate runs for learners. Some folks prefer skiing and | |

some snowboarding, either way, around here, you'll find a lot of fine ski areas. A fine workout and just hanging out with your skiing pals outdoes anything.
Special features: SoBe Terrain Park is the largest in the Mid-West, offers super pipe, a rail park and all sorts of terrain for both skier and boarder. Cross Country Trails: 22 Kilometers in the North Woods
