Welch Village ski area, Minnesota
|
| | how is the snowboarding says Josh.
The 4 feet of snow that falls here annually is not fantastically high, but it's reasonable. With a grand total of 60 slopes to ski on; there's a wonderful variety to gratify everyone. All 10 lifts at this ski mountain make for a relaxing ride up the slope. There's 140 acres of skiing territory, and it's all in delightful shape. You have to go 112 miles to get to a ski area featuring a greater drop. This ski mountain has an average ratio of tough ski trails and an average ratio |
|
of beginner and intermediate trails. The yearly snowfall is less than average at this ski mountain. The 360 foot height difference is of course not that much to boast about, but all the other perfect qualities of Welch Village compensate for it. Welch Village
| | is a mid-size ski area featuring a medium height difference compared to other mid west ski areas. There aren’t any rooms close at hand, but if you're ready to go a small length then no problem, and if you make reservations prior to departure, you're all set. This ski resort has an acceptable diversity of trails and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. Welch Village is a good ski hill with lots of different ski runs; it's not possible to get bored here. A nice workout and just hanging out with your skiing friends surpasses | |
|
anything. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a tremendous thing to do all snow season long. Minnesota gets incredibly charming in the winter; it is the most wonderful time of the year for skiing and snowboarding. Please refer to the
trailmap of Welch Village on this net page for info. As you're on this page you are probably into skiing or snowboarding, either way, this is a neighborhood with a heap of ski mountains for that.
Special features: 3 terrain parks, New Back Bowl and Quad Chairlift opens Dec. 26, 2008
