| | Clear Fork has a comparatively small set of trails and a good amount of ski lifts. The skiable territory being 60 acres, it's more of a small-size style ski mountain. A 300 foot elevation difference is unsurprisingly not that much, but all the other glorious characteristics of Clear Fork compensate for it. This ski mountain has 10 runs, and they are picturesque. Fork is a conventional size ski mountain having an average drop when compared to other mid west ski areas. Clear Fork has lower snowfall than the local average every season. The 4 feet of wonderful snow that falls here per season is not incredibly high, but it's
| | acceptable. Clear Fork is a magnificent ski area for young and old with scores of blue and green ski runs. This ski hill has a much lower than average fraction of advanced and expert ski trails and a much higher than average part of beginner and intermediate trails. You get lots of skiers driving up here from Mount Vernon on snow-white weekends. Ohio gets very scenic in the winter; it is so scenic for snowboarding and skiing. The skiing and the snowboarding in Ohio is a nice thing to do the whole season. Not too many hotels close by, you'll have to voyage a bit to get to one, but do book a room previous to going as it is a very popular destination. | |
