Clear Fork ski area, Ohio
| | This ski mountain has a humble variety of trails and a decent total of great ski lifts. Every winter this ski area gets 4 feet of snow, and that is reasonably okay for a ski area such as this one. All 6 lifts at this ski hill will get you up the hill well. Clear Fork is a normal size ski area boasting a medium elevation difference compared to other mid west ski resorts. Having 60 acres of skiable terrain, it's small enough to get to know all your fellow ski folks. The annual snowfall is lighter than average at Clear Fork. |
This ski hill has a much lower than average ratio of hard slopes and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue trails. All the 10 trails here are tremendous to ski on. A 300 foot height difference is of course not that much, but Clear Fork compensates
| | for it in other ways. Clear Fork has the most sizeable vertical drop for 96 miles. A bit of exercise and just being on the runs for a while are tremendous reasons to come. Clear Fork is a family friendly ski hill with lots of beginner and intermediate slopes. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, there are scores of tremendous spots for that in the vicinity. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a delightful thing to do all winter season long. You'll encounter many skiers from Mount Vernon here. The wintertime in Ohio is truly a great time of year for snowboarding or skiing. | |
