Terry Peak   The fluffy snow here turns genuinely deep, 13 feet every season, and that is one of the reasons this is such a good ski mountain. Terry Peak has the greatest elevation difference for 249 miles. There's 400 acres of skiable territory, and it's all in splendid shape. All the 24 trails here are totally cool. Terry Peak has an okay variety of runs and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of South Dakota is a lot of fun every     day of the winter season. The majestic mountain panorama of South Dakota and the especially tremendous runs are in themselves motive enough to come here to ski. This is a full-size ski hill having a quite soaring drop when compared to other mid west ski resorts. This ski hill has a much lower than average proportion of demanding trails and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate runs. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are not many other nice places for that around here. This ski area has a drop of 1,100 feet; Terry Peak makes good use of it all. The South Dakota highlands during snow season are a fine place for snowboarding and skiing. Terry Peak receives       snowfall close to the local average every winter. All of the 6 great ski lifts make for a comforting ride up the mountain. The Black Hills in wintertime is a fine place for snowboarding and skiing. There are scores of nice places   to stay to select from, but you'd better book before heading out as these places to stay fill up fast. Getting a little bit of nice exercise and just being on the runs for a while will make you happy you came. This is a perfect ski area for the whole family with scores of easy ski runs. The highlands of the Black Hills make for a fine scenery.
