You have to go 249 miles to get to a ski area with a bigger height difference. The amazing 13 feet of annual snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a nice ski hill. Terry Peak gets blanketed by snowfall close to the local average each winter. All of the 6 great ski lifts are in wonderful condition. This is a large ski mountain having a relatively sky-scraping altitude difference compared to other mid west ski areas. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, in this general area, you won't bump into many other

    ski mountains. Terry Peak has a decent selection of slopes and an acceptable number of different ski lifts. This is a splendid spot for everyone with loads of beginner and intermediate runs. All the 24 runs here are wonderful to ski on. There aren’t any places
to stay in the neighborhood, but if you're ready to drive a small distance then no problem, but if you don’t have reservations, you will possibly end up sleeping in your automobile. There's 400 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for good skiing. The 1,100 feet of altitude difference is rather ok; Terry Peak makes good use of it. This ski resort has a much lower than average part of red and black ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of easy slopes. The Black Hills and its mountains is a view worth seeing.

The Black Hills in winter is a genuine skiing and snowboarding paradise. The majestic mountain surroundings of South Dakota and the magnificent sense of coasting down the slopes make the visit here worthwhile. The mountains of South Dakota in wintertime are a brilliant place for skiing and snowboarding. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a nice thing to do all through the winter. A little exercise and just hanging out with your skiing pals will have you coming back.
