The skiable territory being 40 acres, it's very nice and cozy. A 250 foot altitude difference is of course not that much, but all the other great properties of Christmas Mountain make up for it. This is a cozy ski area having an average elevation difference when compared to other mid west ski hills. average fraction of tough slopes and a much higher than average percentage of intermediate or beginner trails. This is a popular ski area for skiers from Baraboo. This ski mountain has 7 slopes, and they are great. The 3 feet of great snow that falls here every
| | winter doesn’t sound like plenty, but it's relatively reasonable. Christmas Mountain gets covered by lighter than average snow each winter season. When this part of Wisconsin is covered in white snow; it is the most grand time of the year for snowboarding or skiing. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is scores of fun all snow season long. Christmas Mountain has a fairly humble range of trails and a small number of ski lifts.
