Grand Geneva ski area, Wisconsin
|
| | I think Grand Geneva is where I went skiing last year when I was up there visiting some old friends, but it may have been some other similar place. It was my first time skiing, it was great. I fell a lot but you know, you just get up again, that's just the way it goes. Looking forward to going again some time. says Jim Martinez.
Grand Geneva has a comparatively small selection of ski slopes and a reasonable amount of different ski lifts. Every season this ski hill gets 2 feet of ice cold snow, and that is not |
|
extremely high, but it's reasonable. With a 211 foot drop from top to bottom it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other great qualities of Grand Geneva make up for it. Grand Geneva is a smaller size than average ski hill in possession of an average
| | elevation difference if compared to other mid west ski areas. With 14 acres of skiable terrain, it's small enough to get to know all your fellow snow people. This ski resort has a much lower than average ratio of red and black slopes and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate ski slopes. All the 16 runs here are totally cool. You'll bump into lots of skiers from Whitewater here. All 5 good ski lifts at this ski hill will get you up the mountain efficiently. This ski resort gets blanketed by lower | |

than average snow each winter. There are scores of nice hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations, you may end up snoozing in your automobile. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, this neighborhood has a lot of ski resorts. This is a splendid
ski mountain for young and old with scores of beginner and intermediate trails for beginners. The skiing and the snowboarding in Wisconsin is so much fun during the winter.
