Little Switzerland ski area, Wisconsin
|
| | Last time I heard they were still closed. I hope they open up again soon. says Vick.
Little Switzerland gets covered by lighter than average snow each winter. Little Switzerland is an ordinary size ski area with a drop that's around average compared to other mid west ski resorts. Little Switzerland has a humble selection of runs and sufficient different ski lifts to serve them all. The 7 lifts here are exciting to hitch a ride with. This ski area has a much lower than average fraction of red and black slopes |
|
and a much higher than average percentage of blue and green runs. With 50 acres of ski terrain, it's fantastically nice and cozy. A lot of skiers from Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis like to ski here. A 200 foot elevation difference is naturally not that much, but
| | Little Switzerland makes up for it in other ways. The 4 feet of ice cold snow that falls here every season is quite ok for a ski hill like this one. The snowboarding and the skiing in Wisconsin is lots of fun every day of the snow season. If you'll be sleeping in a hotel, you're in luck, rooms are on hand near the main area, and if you make reservations prior to departure, you're all set. All the 15 slopes here are exciting to ski on. The winter months in Wisconsin is the most glorious time of the year for snowboarding | |

and skiing. Little Switzerland is a family friendly ski mountain with a load of blue and green ski trails. There's a ski map of Little Switzerland on this net page for your reference.
