| | Mt. La Crosse is a great place to ski and is a convenient drive for many. There are enough challenging runs to keep you busy and a race course is available on Sundays. The Nastar course on Mt. La Crosse seems more difficult than in Beaver Creek, CO. They have a variety of runs and a terrain park. There are no hotels at the base but most are a ten minute drive away. says Hannah.
The annual snowfall of 3 feet is not very high, but it's acceptable. The nearest ski mountain with a higher drop is 119 miles away. |

This ski area has 100 acres of ski terrain, and all of it makes for great skiing. All of the 4 lifts are competently maintained and managed by kind folks. This ski area has 18 ski trails, and they are totally enjoyable. This ski hill has a fairly humble selection

highest hill there is, but Mount La Crosse has so many other tremendous qualities. This ski hill has a much higher than average proportion of expert and advanced ski slopes and a much lower than average proportion of green and blue ski slopes. Some of the slopes
on Mount La Crosse can easily wound you; but you gotta do what you gotta do, correct? No lack of nice hotels, but do book a room previous to going given that it is a very popular destination. Getting your skiing muscles set in motion and getting out of the house
for a while have snow people coming here. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a lot of fun all ski season long. Wisconsin gets exceptionally pretty in the winter; it is so pretty for snowboarding and skiing.
