This is a typical size ski hill boasting an average drop from top to bottom when compared to other mid west ski areas. All the 14 slopes here are good to ski on. The skiable territory being 60 acres, it's more of a small-size style ski mountain. Nordic Mountain has a humble assortment of slopes and a decent quantity of ski lifts. The yearly snowfall is lighter than average at Nordic Mountain. Plenty of skiers voyage up here from Stevens Point, specially on the weekends. This ski hill has 7 feet of wonderful snow per

    winter, and that keeps the trails well covered all through the ski season. A 265 foot altitude difference is naturally not that much, but all the other tremendous qualities of Nordic Mountain make up for it. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the
country is loads of fun the whole snow season. Nordic Mountain has a much lower than average fraction of red and black slopes and a much higher than average fraction of intermediate or beginner slopes. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this area has loads of ski resorts. There are 6 ski lifts here, and they make for a peaceful ride up the slope. Nordic Mountain has the greatest altitude difference among ski areas in a 38 mile radius. There are great comfy rooms here, but if you don’t have reservations,

you might end up sleeping in your vehicle. When this section of Wisconsin is blanketed in wonderful snow; it is truly a splendid time of year for skiing and snowboarding. Some exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in nature are splendid reasons to come.
