This is a conventional size ski resort with a roughly average drop if compared to other mid west ski areas. This ski resort has a much lower than average fraction of black and red runs and a much higher than average ratio of easy slopes. This ski hill has 14 runs, and they are great to ski on. With a 265 foot elevation difference it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other perfect properties of Nordic Mountain compensate for it. No other ski area for 38 miles has a more sky-scraping drop from top to bottom.

    All of the 6 ski lifts are nicely taken care of and controlled by friendly people. The snowboarding and the skiing in Wisconsin is a lot of fun all ski season long. Nordic Mountain gets blanketed by lower than average snow each winter. Whether you're skiing or
snowboarding, there are loads of delightful sites for that close by. Nordic Mountain has a humble selection of slopes and sufficient good ski lifts to serve them all. This is a good spot for young and old with lots of beginner and intermediate slopes for novices. The skiing land being 60 acres, it's petite enough to get to know all your fellow ski people. The seasonal snowfall of 7 feet keeps the depth great. There aren’t any hotels in the vicinity, but if you're prepared to travel a short length then no problem, and if

you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. Good exercise and just hanging out with your skiing friends will make you feel delightful. A load of skiers journey up here from Stevens Point, specially on the weekends.
