Whitecap Mountain
|
| | 'There aren’t any places to stay close by, but if you're ok to travel a short distance then no problem, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set.'' I'm not sure when this was last updated, but there is a hotel right on the ski hill as well as condos and other group rental places. You literally ski right out of your door! Favorite place to ski/snowboard, it's a HUGE resort yet it's never super busy so no lines or danger of running into |

others! My family owns Mountain Meadows 1 (one of the condos at the top of the bunny hill) and we go as much as we can! Excellent family resort and very very friendly workers. We've been going here for years. We're from the Twin
| Cities and it's only about a 3.5 hour drive for us! Great location and tucked away. GREAT GET AWAY FROM REALITY SPOT! says Ashley.

amount of snow each ski season. This is a glorious ski hill with loads of different ski runs; there's absolutely no way to get bored here. The 8 good ski lifts here will get you up the slope efficiently. This ski resort has a reasonable collection of slopes and enough ski lifts to serve them all. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general area, you'll find lots of ski mountains. This ski area has 500 acres of skiable territory, and

all of it makes for good skiing. Whitecap Mountain is a larger than average ski resort having an elevation difference that's more or less average if compared to other mid west ski hills. The skiing and the snowboarding in Wisconsin
is a lot of fun all winter season long. The wintertime in Wisconsin is the most splendid time of the year for skiing or snowboarding. You'll run into lots of skiers from Merrill here. A nice workout and spending some quality time
in nature attract ski folks from far and near. The Gogebic Range and its hills give this ski mountain an exceptionally glorious scenery. There aren’t any hotels around here, but if you're ok to drive a small length then no problem,
but do book a room before heading out because it is a very popular destination. In wintertime the Gogebic Range is a glorious skiing or snowboarding destination.
