I love Wisp, it's my favorite ski area in the region. It's got great runs and a good lift system. I like the atmosphere of the place, it always feels good to come here for a day of skiing. says Ron.

All 12 great ski lifts at this ski mountain will get you up the hill efficiently. No other ski area for 25 miles has a more sky-scraping vertical drop. This ski mountain gets blanketed by 8 feet of snow

    every season, and that keeps the trails well covered during the snow season. Wisp has an acceptable diversity of runs and sufficient lifts to serve them all. Wisp is a conventional size ski hill boasting an average altitude difference when compared to other mid
Atlantic ski areas. This ski hill has 132 acres of ski terrain, and all of it makes for great skiing. On this hill you'll find 32 different trails; there are sufficient trails for every ability. The 700 foot elevation difference is naturally not that much to brag about, but Wisp compensates for it by other means. The annual snowfall is roughly speaking average at this ski area. This ski area has a great choice of slopes to fit all abilities; it won’t leave anyone bored. This ski resort has an average ratio of expert and

advanced ski trails and an average proportion of beginner and intermediate runs. The snowboarding and the skiing in Maryland is so much fun the whole winter season. This is a popular ski resort for skiers from Somerset. No scarcity of great hotel rooms, but if you don’t have reservations, you will possibly end up snoozing in your vehicle.
