I love Wisp, it's my favorite ski area in the region. It's got great runs and a good lift system. I like the atmosphere of the place, it always feels good to come here for a day of skiing. says Ron.

| | condition. Wisp has a much lower than average share of tough runs and a much higher than average proportion of beginner and intermediate slopes. Wisp is a family friendly ski mountain with loads of beginner and intermediate runs. No other ski resort for 25 miles has a higher height difference. This ski area has a fairly humble assortment of slopes and a good selection of ski lifts. The 8 feet of snow that falls here per year keeps the slopes well blanketed through the ski season. or both, doesn't matter, in this general neighborhood, you'll find scores of ski mountains. The 11 different ski lifts here are competently looked after and managed by friendly people. The snowboarding and the skiing in Maryland is a great thing to do the whole
ski season. Lots of skiers from Somerset like to ski here. There's a ski run map of Wisp on this net page for your reference. No need to search hard for hotels, but you'd better book in advance of a trip in view of the fact that these hotels fill up quickly. A little exercise and spending some quality time in the wilderness have ski people coming here.
