| | The 9 ski trails at this ski mountain are scenic. This ski resort has an average part of hard slopes and an average part of easy runs. With a 365 foot height difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but Appalachian Mountain has so many other brilliant properties. This ski mountain has a modest diversity of runs and a good pick of good ski lifts. The 4 feet of great snow that falls here per year is not enormously high, but it's acceptable. | | with. The winter months in North Carolina is truly a great time of year for skiing and snowboarding. This ski hill is nice and relaxed, and folks who work there are very kind. There are lots of rooms here if you want to stay overnight, but if you don’t have reservations, you may end up sleeping in your car. so much fun through the ski season. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are lots of good ski mountains for that in close proximity. The best piece of info on this resort is naturally the trailmap of Appalachian Mountain on this page. Getting your skiing muscles activated and just being on the ski trails for a while attract snow skiers from near and far.
