This ski area has 4 ski lifts, and they are ably taken care of and controlled by caring folks. No other ski hill for 35 miles has a more towering drop from top to bottom. | | ski mountain an extremely perfect view. With a 225 foot drop it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other glorious features of Scaly Mountain compensate for it. This is a popular ski hill for skiers from Seneca. The 6 feet of fluffy snow that fall here per year keeps the coverage glorious. a cozy drop from top to bottom when compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. The lovely snow covered Blue Ridge Mountains mountaintops are so lovely you won’t believe it. There are a lot of good hotels to select from, but do book a room in advance of a trip given
that it is a very popular destination. The skiing and the snowboarding in North Carolina is a lot of fun during the season. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are scores of great places for that close at hand. The winter months in
North Carolina is truly a perfect time of year for skiing or snowboarding. Nice exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in the fresh air will make you feel great.
