Sugar Mountain ski area, North Carolina
|
| | I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE AT SUGAR! NOTHING COMPARES TO IT! DONT GO TO THE IMITATIONS LIKE BEECH AND HAWKSNEST, SUGAR BY FAR IS THE BEST. says Josh.
Sugar Mountain has a rather humble array of ski trails and an okay quantity of great ski lifts. You have to go 182 miles to get to a ski area having a better size vertical drop. This ski hill has 20 ski trails, and they are stunning. Sugar Mountain has lower than average snow each winter. Every ski season this ski hill gets 5 feet of fluffy snow, and that is relatively |

ok for a ski hill like this one. The gorgeous beauty of the North Carolina highlands and excellent runs are motive enough to come here to ski. The trailmap of Sugar Mountain on this web page unsurprisingly says a thousand words. This ski mountain has a height
| | difference of 1,200 feet; Sugar Mountain makes good use of it all. Sugar Mountain has a much lower than average ratio of hard slopes and a much higher than average fraction of easy ski trails. Sugar Mountain is a mid-size ski area in possession of a relatively sky-scraping drop from top to bottom when compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. All of the 8 lifts are exciting to hitch a ride with. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are loads of brilliant spots for that close at hand. There's | |

115 acres of skiing territory, and all of it makes for nice skiing. Getting a brilliant workout and just being on the slopes for a while will make you feel brilliant. No shortage of glorious accommodations, but you'd better book in advance of a trip in view of
the fact that these accommodations fill up quickly. The highlands of North Carolina in the winter are a pleasant location for snowboarding or skiing.
