This ski hill has a much lower than average ratio of advanced and expert ski runs and a much higher than average ratio of intermediate or beginner ski runs. With a 500 foot drop it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other wonderful features of Alpine Mountain make up for it. | | the 21 slopes here are enjoyable to ski on. Alpine Mountain has a moderate selection of ski runs and a good sum of ski lifts. Alpine Mountain is a family friendly ski area with lots of intermediate or beginner ski trails for novices. There are several great lodgings next to the bottom area, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set.
