Bear Creek ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | Bear Creek has a much lower than average percentage of black and red ski trails and a much higher than average proportion of blue and green ski slopes. The skiing land being 86 acres, it's more of a petite style ski resort. The 17 runs at this ski mountain are totally fun. This ski hill has a humble range of ski slopes and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. There are 7 ski lifts here, and they are fun to take a ride with. With a 510 foot vertical drop it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other nice |

characteristics of Bear Creek make up for it. A little exercise and getting out of the house for a while are great incentives to come. This ski resort gets covered by 5 feet of snow per season, and that doesn’t sound like a lot, but it's rather acceptable. This
