Bear Creek ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | This ski area boasts lower snowfall than the local average each snow season. All 7 ski lifts at this ski resort are in good shape. Bear Creek has a modest array of ski slopes and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. The 3 feet of great snow that falls here annually is not extremely high, but it's ok. With 89 acres of ski terrain, it's more of a relaxed style ski resort. No need to hunt hard for places to stay, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up sleeping in your vehicle. The skiing and the snowboarding |

in this region is a good thing to do every day of the ski season. A 510 foot vertical drop is unsurprisingly not that much, but Bear Creek makes up for it in other ways. Bear Creek has a much lower than average percentage of hard trails and a much higher than
| | average fraction of beginner and intermediate ski slopes. This ski resort has 21 trails, and they are totally cool. This is a normal size ski area having a drop that's roughly speaking average if compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. Because you're on this net page you are perhaps into skiing or snowboarding, either way, this is a neighborhood with heaps of ski mountains for that. Plenty of skiers journey up here from Reading, particularly on the weekends. The wintertime in Pennsylvania is truly a great time of | |

year for snowboarding or skiing. Bear Creek is a good site for everyone with lots of easy runs. A bit of exercise and getting out of the house for a while outdoes anything.
Special features: 3 Terrain Parks: a. CASCADE PARK, b. BLACK BEAR PARK, c. GRIZZLY FAMILY PARK
