Big Boulder gets blanketed by lighter snowfall than the local average every winter. This ski resort has a much lower than average fraction of tough ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue ski slopes. The 4 feet of snow that fall here every season is quite reasonable for a ski mountain like this one. With     55 acres of skiable land, it's more of a petite style ski mountain. Big Boulder has a small mixture of ski slopes and enough ski lifts to serve them all. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is so much fun throughout the winter season. Big Boulder is a great ski hill for the whole family with scores of blue and green ski slopes for beginners. The 475 foot vertical drop is unsurprisingly not that much to boast about, but Big Boulder makes up for it in other ways. The 16 ski runs at this ski resort are totally exciting. This is a mid-size ski resort in possession of an average height difference compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. A load of skiers go up here from East       Stroudsburg, specifically on the weekends. A little exercise and a chance to spend some time in nature will have you coming back. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this region has loads of ski areas.   There are lots of perfect places to stay to select from, but do book a room before you go as it is a very popular destination.
