Big Boulder ski area, Pennsylvania
| | Looking for a day around Feb 8th. for tubing. says Joanie Ford.
This is a mid-size ski area with a roughly average altitude difference when compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. Having a skiable area of 55 acres, it makes for an intimate skiing experience. This ski mountain has a comparatively small set of runs and an ok quantity of ski lifts. This ski hill has a much lower than average ratio of red and black ski slopes and a much higher than average part of green and blue runs. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, |
this region has many ski hills. Pennsylvania gets very picturesque during ski season; it is the most magnificent time of the year for snowboarding or skiing. The 7 great ski lifts here are skillfully taken care of and run by friendly people. The 475 foot altitude
| | difference is of course not that much to brag about, but Big Boulder has so many other great characteristics. The annual snowfall is less than average at this ski hill. The annual snowfall of 4 feet is naturally not first-class, but not too shaggy either. All the 16 ski trails here are nice to ski on. Big Boulder is a good ski mountain for the whole family with a lot of green and blue trails for beginners. A good workout and an opportunity to spend some time in the outdoors will make you feel good. The snowboarding | |
and the skiing in Pennsylvania is a lot of fun all season long. You get many skiers traveling up here from East Stroudsburg on snowy weekends.
Special features: 5 terrain parks
