This ski area has 16 trails, and they are fun to ski on. The 4 feet of ice cold snow that falls here per year is not incredibly high, but it's all right. Having a skiable territory of 55 acres, it's more of a relaxed style ski resort. This ski mountain has a much lower than average percentage of black and red runs and a much higher than average share of green and blue slopes. the other great characteristics of Big Boulder make up for it. This ski area has a rather small collection of slopes and a decent quantity of great ski lifts. Big Boulder gets blanketed by lower than average snow every snow season. All of the 7 ski lifts are perfectly
| | looked after and managed by kind folks. This is a typical size ski mountain featuring an average height difference when compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. Getting a little fine exercise and just being on the trails for a while have snow folks coming here. This is a popular ski hill for skiers from East Stroudsburg.
