This ski resort has a much lower than average part of hard runs and a much higher than average proportion of intermediate or beginner trails. This ski hill has 7 ski lifts, and they make for a peaceful ride up the hill. The 4 feet of good snow that fall here every winter is not very high, but it's reasonable. The 475 foot height difference is of course not that much to boast about, but Big Boulder has so many other nice features. This ski mountain |

has a modest variety of trails and a reasonable selection of lifts. This ski resort gets blanketed by lighter snowfall than the local average each ski season. The 16 runs at this ski mountain are wonderful. This is a popular ski mountain for skiers from East Stroudsburg.
| | With 55 acres of skiable area, it's more of a relaxed style ski hill. This is a conventional size ski resort boasting a drop that's something like average if compared to other mid Atlantic ski mountains. The wintertime months in Pennsylvania is the most marvelous time of the year for skiing and snowboarding. Big Boulder is a family friendly ski hill with a lot of intermediate or beginner slopes.
