This ski area has 16 trails, and they are fun to ski on. The 4 feet of ice cold snow that falls here per year is not incredibly high, but it's all right. Having a skiable territory of 55 acres, it's more of a relaxed style ski resort. This ski mountain has a much lower than average percentage of black and red runs and a much higher than average share of green and blue slopes. A 475 foot drop from top to bottom is of course not that much, but all

    the other great characteristics of Big Boulder make up for it. This ski area has a rather small collection of slopes and a decent quantity of great ski lifts. Big Boulder gets blanketed by lower than average snow every snow season. All of the 7 ski lifts are perfectly
looked after and managed by kind folks. This is a typical size ski mountain featuring an average height difference when compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. Getting a little fine exercise and just being on the trails for a while have snow folks coming here. This is a popular ski hill for skiers from East Stroudsburg. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, around here, you'll locate scores of fine places. The winter in Pennsylvania is the most magnificent time of the year for snowboarding or skiing. There are

scores of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room previous to going because it is a very popular destination. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is so much fun every day of the season. The ski trail map on this web page will give you a good idea what Big Boulder is like.
