Boyce Park
|
| | I've been a local patron of Boyce Park for 12 years, and I still currently go there. For locals, it's a no-brainer to drive there and have a good time with your friends. It is not a ski area that will test your abilities or really challenge a veteran rider. However, it is extremely cheap, not very crowded (with the exception of weekends) and fully functional (weather permitting). For $10, you can get a pretty decent workout. Bottom line: If you are more |
of a social rider, a beginner, or just don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a lift ticket, Boyce is a great option for a good snow session. says The Local.
I really like Boyce park. It's my favorite place to be. I would
| be there all day if I had a choice. says Alex.
Skiing for over 20 years, thought Boyce was going to be too small and lame. To cut to the chase, it was a fantastic place! Can't say enough! Tried snowboarding for the 1st time with my 67 year old dad and 9 yr. old son. Cannot beat the price, had a cafe, and closest, longest, widest beginner hill I've found in Western PA! says Laura Gray.
I went here once a really long time ago when I was a little | |

kid. It was loads of fun. says Romel.
Boyce Park is a relaxed ski mountain with a small elevation difference compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. This ski area has a humble range of runs and an okay choice of lifts. With

a skiing land of 25 acres, it's exceptionally lovely and relaxed. This ski area obtains lower snowfall than the local average every snow season. No other ski hill for 39 miles has a more soaring elevation difference. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is scores of fun through the winter. This ski mountain gets covered by 3 feet of fluffy snow every year, and that is quite okay for a ski mountain like this one. A 180 foot elevation difference is of course

not that much, but all the other delightful attributes of Boyce Park make up for it. This ski area has 5 different ski lifts, and they are in magnificent shape. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this area has loads of ski
areas. This ski area has a much lower than average ratio of demanding trails and a much higher than average percentage of blue and green runs. This ski hill has 9 ski slopes, and they are gorgeous. No lack of good lodgings, but do
book a room in advance of a trip in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. Getting your skiing muscles activated and a chance to spend some time in the great outdoors are splendid reasons to come. This is a great
site for everybody with a lot of beginner and intermediate runs. Scores of skiers from Pittsburgh like to ski here. The ski run map on this internet page will give you a good idea what Boyce Park is like. The wintertime in Pennsylvania
is the most majestic time of the year for snowboarding and skiing. This ski area is enjoyable and small-size with a caring personnel.
