Elk Mountain ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | Elk is uncrowded and really fun. They seem to make the best out off the conditions weather gives them. Good, long trails(for Pa). I liked the mini park. The ''bigger'' park made the best of the space. I surface lift in the park lets you session as long as you want, and stay in the park. Great for dialing in on my skillz. Couple of the rail and box features are really cool. I will go to Elk a couple times a year. says 1sweetstick.

every day of the season. There aren’t any lodgings close by, but if you're ok to travel a small distance then no problem, but you'd better reserve previous to going given that these lodgings fill up quickly. The picturesque vista of the Pennsylvania summits and
the nice feeling of rocketing down the runs have a lot of skiers coming here. Elk Mountain is a greater than average ski area boasting an average vertical drop compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. Elk Mountain has the most sizeable altitude difference for
21 miles. This ski hill has a drop of 1,000 feet; it's sufficient to get some decent time on the trails between lifts. The hills of Pennsylvania covered in snow are always great for snowboarding or skiing.
