This ski hill has 23 slopes, and they are good. This ski resort has a much lower than average proportion of hard ski slopes and a much higher than average percentage of intermediate or beginner ski slopes. This ski mountain has 125 acres of skiing territory, and it's all in good shape. The seasonal snowfall is lower than average at Shawnee Mountain. All of the 9 lifts are well maintained and operated by friendly folks. The 4 feet of wonderful snow that falls here yearly is of course not top-notch, but not that shaggy

    either. The 700 foot vertical drop is naturally not that much to boast about, but Shawnee Mountain compensates for it in other ways. Shawnee Mountain is a typical size ski hill in possession of a medium drop compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. Shawnee Mountain
is a family friendly ski hill with a lot of blue and green ski runs for beginners. Pennsylvania gets very wonderful during snow season; it is the most splendid time of the year for skiing or snowboarding. This ski resort has a fairly humble array of ski slopes and an ok pick of different ski lifts. There are lots of rooms here if you want to spend the night, but you'd better reserve ahead of going given that these rooms fill up rapidly.
