| | Shawnee Mountain has a much lower than average fraction of demanding ski trails and a much higher than average share of easy trails. This is a regular size ski area in possession of an average height difference when compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. The 23 trails at this ski area are pretty. The annual snowfall is lower than average at Shawnee Mountain. A 700 foot drop is of course not that much, but all the other tremendous qualities of Shawnee Mountain make up for it. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general region, you'll come upon a lot of ski hills. This is a popular ski resort for skiers from East Stroudsburg. | |

The winter in Pennsylvania is so wonderful for skiing or snowboarding. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is lots of fun every day of the winter season. No scarcity of fine rooms, but you'd better reserve in advance of a trip since these rooms fill up fast.
