With a 700 foot height difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but Shawnee Mountain makes up for it in other ways. This ski area has 23 runs, and they are wonderful. All 9 great ski lifts at this ski mountain are well looked after and controlled by kind people. Shawnee Mountain has a much lower than average share of challenging slopes and a much higher than average part of beginner and intermediate ski runs. This ski resort has a small set of ski runs and a reasonable choice of lifts. Shawnee Mountain gets blanketed

    by less snowfall than the local average each ski season. There's 125 acres of terrain, and it's all in fine shape. Every ski season this ski area gets 4 feet of great snow, and that doesn’t sound like loads, but it's pretty all right. The skiing and the snowboarding
in Pennsylvania is lots of fun all winter long. This is a typical size ski resort featuring a medium altitude difference if compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. Getting a little bit of nice exercise and getting out of the house for a while will make you happy you came. Rooms are available near the base zone, but do reserve a room previous to going in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. Heaps of skiers voyage up here from East Stroudsburg, specifically on the weekends. This is a family friendly ski

resort with a heap of beginner and intermediate ski trails. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this is an area with plenty of ski mountains for that.
