Ski Denton ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | I have been the advisor for the Cowanesque Valley Ski and Snowboard Club for 7 years. Our club has always come to Denton Hill. We have over 60 members in our club this year ranging from 1st grade to adulthood. We are so fortunate to have access to such a terrific mountain! The trails are challenging and the scenery picturesque. Our beginner members have benefited from the patience of Denton instructors and have developed into good skiers/boarders. The prices at the snack bar are reasonable and we enjoy munching on hot |
chili, and nachos and cheese. Thanks Denton for helping us cope with the winter blues. We look forward to every Sunday we spend at your slopes and do not look forward to the end of the season. says Jamie-Jo Sickler.
You have to go 58 miles to get to a
| | ski hill in possession of a bigger elevation difference. Ski Denton is a larger than average ski resort in possession of an average drop when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. This ski hill gets covered by snowfall close to the local average every winter. Ski Denton has a small diversity of trails and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. A 650 foot drop is of course not that much, but Ski Denton has so many other wonderful properties. You'll encounter loads of skiers from Lock Haven here. There's 200 | |

acres of skiable terrain, and it's all blanketed by fluffy snow. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are lots of fine ski hills for that close at hand. This ski resort has 22 slopes, and they are wonderful. All of the 5 lifts are nicely kept up and controlled
by friendly folks. The seasonal snowfall of 8 feet keeps the coverage splendid. Ski Denton has an average proportion of red and black ski slopes and an average share of intermediate or beginner trails. The close by accommodations are a bit far away from the bottom
of the hill, and if you make reservations ahead of going, you're all set. A little bit of exercise and getting out of the house for a while are fine incentives to come. The wintertime months in Pennsylvania is the most grand time of the year for skiing or snowboarding.
