Ski Sawmill ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | I like this ski hill a lot. It is really well run; they have lots of snow guns to make lots of snow. says Sarrah.
No other ski hill for 40 miles has a more towering vertical drop. Ski Sawmill has lighter than average snow each winter. All the 13 runs here are good. Ski Sawmill has a somewhat modest diversity of runs and not too many lifts. Every ski season this ski mountain gets 2 feet of ice cold snow, and that doesn’t sound like a load, but it's quite all right. This is a petite ski mountain featuring a |

roughly average drop when compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. A wonderful workout and an opportunity to spend some time in the outdoors have folks coming here. Lots of skiers voyage up here from Williamsport, particularly on the weekends. The nearby hotel
| | rooms are a bit away from the bottom area, and if you make reservations in advance of a trip, you're all set. The skiable area being 15 acres, it's cozy enough to get to know all your fellow ski people. With a 515 foot vertical drop it's not the highest hill there is, but Ski Sawmill has so many other nice attributes. This ski resort has an average part of expert and advanced slopes and an average share of beginner and intermediate runs. All 4 lifts at this ski area are perfectly kept up and managed by caring people. The | |
