Ober Gatlinburg ski area, Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee
|
| | I went there 2 days ago. It was so fun. says Meagan.
Ober Gatlinburg doesn't have a lot of different runs to choose from but it's pretty ok based on the area. says Bob Turner.
Ober Gatlinburg has the biggest drop from top to bottom among ski areas in a 33 mile radius. This ski mountain has a much lower than average part of tough runs and a much higher than average share of green and blue slopes. Ober Gatlinburg boasts lower snowfall than the local average every season. With 38 acres of skiable terrain, |
|
it's petite enough to get to know all your fellow skiers. With a 600 foot elevation difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other pleasant qualities of Ober Gatlinburg compensate for it. Ober Gatlinburg has a small array of slopes and few lifts.
| | You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of splendid ski mountains for that close at hand. This ski resort has 8 runs, and they are perfect to ski on. The 3 feet of white snow that falls here every winter is unsurprisingly not first-class, but not that bad either. There are a lot of hotel rooms here if you want to stay an extra day, but you'd better book prior to departure because these hotel rooms fill up swiftly. Lots of skiers go up here from Sevierville, specifically on the | |

weekends. This is a small-size ski hill in possession of a roughly average elevation difference when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. All of the 3 lifts are ably looked after and controlled by kind folks. Getting a splendid workout and getting
out of the house for a while outdoes anything. Ober Gatlinburg is a small-size place, and folks who work there are very pleasant. This is a fine place for everybody with lots of blue and green trails. The mountains of the Great Smoky Mountains give this ski resort
an incredibly great sight. Tennessee gets incredibly picturesque during ski season; it is the most grandiose time of the year for skiing or snowboarding. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is loads of fun every day of the season. In wintertime the Great Smoky Mountains is an incredibly great place if you like skiing or snowboarding.
