Ober Gatlinburg doesn't have a lot of different runs to choose from but it's pretty ok based on the area. says Bob Turner.
This ski mountain has a much lower than average share of challenging trails and a much higher than average share of green and blue slopes. The annual snowfall is lighter than average at this ski mountain. Every season this ski area gets 3 feet of good snow, and that is not very high, but it's acceptable. All of the 3 lifts will |

| | region, you'll encounter a lot of ski hills. The skiable terrain being 38 acres, it makes for an intimate skiing experience. No other ski area for 33 miles has a more towering height difference. This is a pleasant ski area for everyone with a lot of easy ski slopes. When this segment of Tennessee is covered in snow; it is so pretty for snowboarding or skiing. Ober Gatlinburg compensates for it in other ways. This is a cozier than average ski resort featuring a medium elevation difference if compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. The snowboarding and the skiing in Tennessee is a perfect thing to do all snow season
long. Ober Gatlinburg is a cozy site, and folks who work there are very pleasant. No need to search hard for places to stay, but you'd better book in advance of a trip because these places to stay fill up quickly. The Great Smoky Mountains covered in snow is an
incredibly magnificent place if you love snowboarding or skiing. The Great Smoky Mountains and its peaks give this ski area an incredibly magnificent landscape. A good workout and just being on the slopes for a while have ski folks coming here.
