| | things. This ski resort gets blanketed by less snowfall than the local average every ski season. The wintertime months in Virginia is so picturesque for snowboarding and skiing. No other ski hill for 22 miles has a more towering elevation difference. problem, and if you make reservations before heading out, you're all set. Plenty of skiers travel up here from Harrisonburg, especially on the weekends. Wonderful exercise and a chance to spend some time in nature will make you happy
