Here in Virginia Massanutten is my top choice for skiing any day. Nice little beginner area on one side and a pretty big advanced area on the other side. It's a very well run resort. says Ronald Brown.

All the 14 ski slopes here are good. The 1,110 feet of drop from top to bottom is reasonably ok; it's enough to get some decent time on the slopes between lifts. No other ski area for 85 miles has a more soaring drop from top to bottom. With 70 acres of skiing territory, it's more of a small-size style ski mountain.

    This ski resort has a small array of ski runs and an acceptable pick of ski lifts. Massanutten is a family friendly ski mountain with a lot of easy ski runs for learners. This ski mountain has 8 different ski lifts, and they are amusing to get a ride with. This
ski area gets covered by lighter than average snow each ski season. This is a conventional size ski area having a load of vertical feet if compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. There are several splendid lodgings near the base zone, but do reserve a room prior to departure since it is a very popular destination. This ski resort gets 4 feet of wonderful snow per winter, and that is not enormously high, but it's okay. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Virginia is a lot of fun the whole snow season. Massanutten has

a much lower than average proportion of challenging trails and a much higher than average ratio of intermediate or beginner ski runs. Some exercise and spending some quality time in the fresh air attract snow skiers from all over. The peaks of Virginia blanketed in ice cold snow are a glorious site for snowboarding or skiing. There's a ski trail map of Massanutten on this web page for your reference. The Blue Ridge Mountains blanketed in ice cold snow is a pure snowboarding or skiing paradise. The Blue Ridge Mountains and its peaks make for a glorious landscape. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this area has loads of ski resorts. The winter landscape of the Virginia mountains and all the magnificent runs are guaranteed to keep you coming back for more.
