The Homestead
|
| | It's a big wide slope with some smaller slopes on the side. I like it, it's pretty. says Rudy.
The annual snowfall of 4 feet is of course not top-notch, but not too shaggy either. This ski hill has an average percentage of advanced and expert slopes and an average share of beginner and intermediate slopes. The Homestead has a comparatively humble array of slopes and enough ski lifts to serve them all. This ski mountain has 9 trails, and they are great |

to ski on. The nearest ski area with a higher drop from top to bottom is 26 miles away. The Homestead gets covered by less than average snow every snow season. This is a small ski hill boasting a roughly average elevation difference
| | compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. The 700 foot height difference is unsurprisingly not that much to boast about, but The Homestead has so many other splendid characteristics. All of the 5 different ski lifts are fun to get a ride with. The skiable territory being 45 acres, it makes for a friendly skiing experience. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far away from the bottom area if you want to stay an extra day, but if you don’t have reservations, | |
