The Homestead ski area, Virginia
| | There are 5 great ski lifts here, and they are capably kept up and managed by caring folks. The 9 slopes at this ski mountain are good. The Homestead has the most sizeable drop from top to bottom for 26 miles. This is a cozy ski hill featuring an average height difference compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. This ski hill has a fairly modest set of ski trails and a reasonable total of good ski lifts. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is scores of fun every day of the season. This ski resort has an average share |
of difficult ski trails and an average proportion of beginner and intermediate ski trails. Virginia gets very beautiful in wintertime; it is truly a nice time of year for skiing or snowboarding. The terrain being 45 acres, it's more of a petite style ski hill.
| | With a 700 foot drop it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other tremendous attributes of The Homestead make up for it. Getting some fine exercise and a chance to spend some time in the great outdoors attract ski people from all over. The seasonal snowfall of 4 feet is relatively all right for a ski hill like this one. This ski resort gets blanketed by less than average snow every snow season. The Homestead is amiable and petite with a pleasant workforce. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this vicinity has a lot of ski resorts. Please refer to the ski run map of The Homestead on this web page for information. | |
