Wintergreen ski area, Virginia
|
| | Thanks for having such a great ski resort for us to visit, keep up the great work! says Joe.
My family loves skiing at Wintergreen here in Virginia. We go there all the time in the winter, it's a good place to ski for all abilities I think, both beginners and experts. says Liz Walker.
The nearest ski hill with a higher drop from top to bottom is 77 miles away. Having a skiable territory of 90 acres, it's small enough to get to know all your fellow ski people. The yearly snowfall of 3 feet is pretty all |

right for a ski hill such as this one. The 5 different ski lifts here will get you up the mountain effectively. Wintergreen gets blanketed by less than average snow every winter season. The mountaintops of Virginia in winter are something you can’t pass up in
| | the event that you're keen on skiing and snowboarding. All the 20 trails here are nice to ski on. The 1,003 feet of drop from top to bottom is not that bad; Wintergreen makes great use of it. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is lots of fun all ski season long. Getting a little perfect exercise and getting out of the house for a while are perfect causes to come. This ski area has an average fraction of advanced and expert slopes and an average proportion of intermediate or beginner ski runs. | |

Wintergreen has a modest selection of ski runs and a good sum of good ski lifts. Wintergreen is an average size ski hill in possession of a drop from top to bottom that's something like average compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. No matter if you're skiing
or snowboarding, this is a vicinity with lots of locations for that. The ski trail map of Wintergreen on this page of course says a thousand words. If you'll be sleeping in a hotel, you're in luck, accommodations are offered near the bottom of the hill, but you'd better book in advance of a trip because these accommodations fill up swiftly.
