| | Canaan Valley has a decent variety of slopes and a humble sum of ski lifts. Canaan Valley is a typical size ski mountain in possession of a roughly average altitude difference if compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. This ski area has a much lower than average proportion of black and red runs and a much higher than average part of green and blue slopes. 4 ski lifts are fun to hitch a ride with. Scores of skiers from Morgantown like to ski here. This ski hill gets so much snow, 13 feet per year, and that is plenty for incredibly tremendous coverage. The annual snowfall is in the order of average at Canaan Valley.

With a 850 foot altitude difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other brilliant attributes of Canaan Valley compensate for it. The natural loveliness of the West Virginia mountains and the joy of gliding down a slope have snow people coming from far and near. Delightful exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in the great outdoors will make you happy you came.
