Canaan Valley gets snowfall close to the local average each snow season. Canaan Valley is a standard size ski area boasting a medium height difference when compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. This ski hill has 4 different ski lifts, and they are perfectly maintained and controlled by caring people. With a 850 foot altitude difference     it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other great characteristics of Canaan Valley compensate for it. The skiable territory being 91 acres, it's incredibly lovely and small. This ski mountain has a much lower than average ratio of difficult runs and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate slopes. The fluffy snow here becomes truly deep, 13 feet per year, and that is one of the finest marks of this ski resort. This ski resort has 34 ski runs that you could ski on; it's a wonderful range.       Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time in the fresh air attract snow folks from all over. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are a lot of good sites for that in close proximity. There are some good   hotels near the main area, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. This is a popular ski area for skiers from Morgantown. The hills of West Virginia during snow season are a tremendous place for skiing and snowboarding. Canaan Valley is a good spot for the whole family with scores of beginner and intermediate trails. The natural beauty of the West Virginia hills and tremendous ski trails have loads of folks coming here. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a magnificent thing to do every day of the season.
