Canaan Valley has a much lower than average part of difficult ski slopes and a much higher than average percentage of blue and green trails. This ski mountain has a good assortment of trails and a small number of lifts. There are 34 ski runs to select from; there's a delightful set to gratify everyone. With 91 acres of terrain, it's petite enough to get to know all your fellow ski people. The wonderful

    snow here gets especially deep, 13 feet every winter, and that is one of the greatest features of this ski area. This is a typical size ski area having a medium drop from top to bottom compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. The mountains of West Virginia
covered in good snow are a good site for skiing and snowboarding. There are 4 lifts here, and they are enjoyable to hitch a ride with. Canaan Valley has a fine assortment of slopes; it's just not possible to get bored here. With a 850 foot drop from top to bottom it's not the highest hill there is, but Canaan Valley has so many other great properties. Canaan Valley boasts an average amount of snow every winter season. A lot of skiers from Morgantown like to ski here. No shortage of wonderful accommodations, and if you
