| | Winterplace now has 28 trails + a terrain park. They have expanded the beginner area to include a new trail. says Tanner.
Winterplace has the biggest drop from top to bottom among ski resorts in a 89 mile radius. Winterplace has a reasonable collection of trails and enough lifts to serve them all. This ski resort has 27 runs, and they are totally cool. The 8 feet of snow that fall here per year keeps the runs well blanketed throughout the winter season. much to boast about, but Winterplace compensates for it by other means. This is a conventional size ski area featuring an average altitude difference when compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. Winterplace has a much lower than average proportion of challenging
| | trails and a much higher than average fraction of intermediate or beginner trails. Getting a little brilliant exercise and getting out of the house for a while are brilliant motives to come. The wintertime in West Virginia is truly a wonderful time of year for skiing and snowboarding. All of the 9 good ski lifts are ably kept up and managed by welcoming people. Winterplace is a family friendly ski resort with lots of blue and green ski slopes. With a skiable land of 90 acres, it's more of a small-size style ski area. | |

No need to search hard for accommodations, but you'd better reserve ahead of going since these accommodations fill up rapidly. This ski resort receives snowfall close to the local average each ski season. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either
