| | This is an ordinary size ski area in possession of a good vertical drop when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. Owls Head has an average proportion of black and red trails and an average fraction of beginner and intermediate trails. Owls Head has a decent range of trails and an acceptable pick of different ski lifts. The 1,772 feet of drop from top to bottom is quite reasonable; Owls Head makes excellent use of it all.
