Mount Lemmon Ski Valley is a relaxed ski hill having a relatively small drop compared to other US Rockies ski hills. Mount Lemmon Ski Valley has the greatest drop for 122 miles. All of the 3 lifts make for a peaceful ride up the hill. Mount Lemmon Ski Valley has a much lower than average proportion of     difficult runs and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate slopes. Mount Lemmon Ski Valley has a rather modest selection of slopes and not many ski lifts. This ski hill receives snowfall close to the local average every winter. The skiable land being 70 acres, it's enormously pleasant and small. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Arizona is so much fun all ski season long. With a 950 foot elevation difference it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other pleasant qualities of Mount Lemmon Ski Valley make up for it. The extraordinary annual snowfall of 15 feet is one of the reasons this is such a great ski resort. All the 18 trails here are totally amusing.       The natural beauty of the Arizona mountaintops and the great sense of cruising down the trails have ski folks coming from far and near. The close by rooms are a bit far from the base zone, and if you make reservations prior to departure,   you're all set. Mount Lemmon Ski Valley is a pleasant location for everybody with a load of beginner and intermediate slopes. Splendid exercise and just being on the ski runs for a while have snow skiers coming here. The mountaintops of Arizona in the wintertime are a fine place for snowboarding or skiing.
