This ski mountain has a much lower than average part of advanced and expert ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of beginner and intermediate runs. All the 7 runs here are good. Shirley Meadow is a more inviting than average ski mountain with a small-size height difference compared to other west coast ski mountains. A 600 foot drop is unsurprisingly not that much, but all the other great qualities of Shirley |

Meadow make up for it. The amazing 18 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a glorious ski resort. All 3 lifts at this ski area make for a calming ride up the hill. No other ski mountain for 95 miles has a more sky-scraping height difference.
