This ski area has 7 trails, and they are pretty. No other ski mountain for 96 miles has a more sky-scraping height difference. This is a more inviting than average ski area having a more inviting than average height difference if compared to other west coast ski mountains. Shirley Meadow has a much lower than average fraction of black and red runs and a much higher than average percentage of easy slopes. Shirley Meadow has a somewhat small set of slopes and not too many ski lifts. This ski resort is a cozy location

    managed by pleasant people. The peaks of the Southern Sierra Nevada is a landscape worth seeing. Shirley Meadow gets an average amount of snow each season. The striking 18 feet of annual snowfall is one of the best characteristics of this ski area. Some people
prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general vicinity, you'll come upon loads of ski hills. Having 80 acres of skiing land, it's petite enough to get to know all your fellow folks. With a 600 foot drop it's not the highest hill there is, but Shirley Meadow compensates for it with other things. The 3 great ski lifts here are in glorious condition. The snowboarding and the skiing in California is so much fun every day of the winter season. There aren’t any lodgings in the neighborhood, but if you're

prepared to journey a short distance then no problem, but do book a room prior to departure as it is a very popular destination. A little bit of exercise and getting out of the house for a while attract snow skiers from far and wide. You get a lot of skiers traveling up here from Bakersfield on snow-white weekends. The peaks of the Southern Sierra Nevada in wintertime are a good location for skiing or snowboarding. This is a nice ski resort for everyone with a heap of beginner and intermediate ski runs.
