Back in the old days when I lived in the area I used to ski here sometimes. It has a cozier feel than the bigger resorts nearby. says Chris.

This ski resort has a much lower than average share of difficult runs and a much higher than average fraction of green and blue slopes. The seasonal snowfall is more or less average at Ski Sunrise. This ski hill has 100 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for great skiing. Ski Sunrise has the biggest drop for 46 miles. This ski hill has 24 trails, and they are great

    to ski on. There are 4 ski lifts here, and they are well maintained and managed by caring folks. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of California is so much fun all winter season long. Ski Sunrise has an acceptable diversity of slopes and not too many lifts.
Ski Sunrise is a small ski hill having a small drop when compared to other west coast ski areas. The ski map on this web page will give you a good idea what Ski Sunrise is like. Getting a wonderful workout and getting out of the house for a while will make you feel wonderful. With a 816 foot elevation difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Ski Sunrise has so many other magnificent characteristics. Mountains is so lovely you won’t believe it. The phenomenal 12 feet of yearly snowfall is a fantastically good coverage. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this is an area with heaps of spots for that. The mountains of the San Gabriel Mountains is a scenery worth seeing. This is a popular ski area for skiers from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. The nearby lodgings are a bit away from the bottom area, but do reserve a room in advance of a trip given that it is a very popular destination. The winter scenery of the California peaks and the incredibly fine ski slopes are incentive enough to come here to ski. This is a great spot for the whole family with lots of green and blue ski trails.
