| | With 80 acres of skiing area, it's extremely enjoyable and small-size. The 5 slopes at this ski resort are totally cool. This ski area obtains higher snowfall than the local average each season. Hesperus Ski Center has a comparatively modest mixture of ski trails and a small number of lifts. The extraordinary 25 feet of yearly snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a brilliant ski area. Hesperus Ski Center is a small ski hill boasting a quite cozy vertical drop when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. |

This is a magnificent place for everyone with scores of green and blue slopes for learners. This ski mountain has a much lower than average part of difficult ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue ski trails. You have to go 25 miles
| | to get to a ski area boasting a greater vertical drop. There aren’t any accommodations close by, but if you're ok to drive a small length then no problem, and if you make reservations in advance of a trip, you're all set. The 700 foot vertical drop is naturally not that much to boast about, but Hesperus Ski Center has so many other good attributes. and people who work there are very welcoming. This is a popular ski mountain for skiers from Durango. The snow covered peaks of the Mesa Verde make for a wonderful sight. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is loads of fun the whole ski season.
