This ski resort has an average share of red and black slopes and an average proportion of green and blue runs. This ski area has more than average snow every winter. The phenomenal 25 feet of yearly snowfall is one of the finest characteristics of this ski area. Tamarack has an ok assortment of runs and a good choice of good ski lifts. Tamarack is an ordinary size ski hill boasting a roughly average vertical drop when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. This ski resort has an altitude difference of 2,800

    feet which is more than enough for a wonderful top to bottom run. On this slope you'll locate 42 different slopes; there are ample slopes for every capability. There are 8 lifts here, and they make for a relaxing ride up the slope. Getting your skiing muscles
stimulated and spending some quality time in the fresh air will make you pleased you came. Nothing outclasses the Idaho summits in the winter; they are always wonderful for skiing or snowboarding. This is a delightful ski resort with a lot of different ski trails; it's not possible to get bored here. You have to go 326 miles to get to a ski area having a larger height difference. Having such a good size skiable territory, 1,100 acres in all you will never be short of skiable territory. There are a number of good rooms near

the bottom of the hill, and if you make reservations in advance of a trip, you're all set. Winter in the mountains of Idaho and all the magnificent ski slopes have ski folks coming from near and far. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are not too many other good locations for that in close proximity. The summits of the Salmon River Mountains is a vista worth seeing. The skiing and the snowboarding in Idaho is lots of fun during the ski season. The stunning snow blanketed Salmon River Mountains summits are a wonderful location for skiing or snowboarding.
