A 180 foot drop from top to bottom is unsurprisingly not that much, but Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park has so many other delightful features.     Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park is a cozy ski mountain in possession of a medium vertical drop compared to other mid west ski resorts. All the 5 slopes here are lovely. Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park has a rather small array of ski slopes and few lifts. This ski hill has a much higher than average proportion of tough runs and a much lower than average proportion of blue and green runs. With 12 acres of terrain, it's cozy enough to get to know all your fellow ski folks. This is an enjoyable ski area where plenty of the ski runs push the limits of even the best skiers. When this segment of Illinois is blanketed in wonderful snow; it is the most wonderful time of the year for snowboarding or skiing.       The ski slopes on this mountain can turn simply freaky; but you were born an adrenaline junkie, not a great deal to do about that. This ski hill gets 3 feet of fluffy snow every year, and that doesn’t sound like plenty, but it's rather   acceptable. A lot of skiers from Whitewater like to ski here. Getting a little bit of wonderful exercise and just hanging out with your skiing buddies attract ski folks from all over. There are good comfortable hotel rooms here, but if you don’t have reservations, you may end up sleeping in your car.
