The ski terrain being 30 acres, it's incredibly enjoyable and relaxed. Fun Valley is a relaxed ski resort with an average drop from top to bottom compared to other mid west ski resorts. All the 14 slopes here are exciting to ski on. Fun Valley has a rather modest mixture of runs and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. there is, but all the other brilliant attributes of Fun Valley compensate for it. All 5 lifts at this ski area are capably maintained and run by kind folks. There aren’t any places to stay around here, but if you're ok to go a small length then no problem, but
| | do book a room in advance of a trip since it is a very popular destination. Fun Valley has the largest height difference among ski resorts in a 98 mile radius. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are few other wonderful spots for that in close proximity. and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate runs. You get loads of skiers going up here from Oskaloosa on snow covered weekends. This is a brilliant ski mountain for the whole family with a lot of easy trails for novices. When this sector
of Iowa is covered in snow; it is truly a glorious time of year for skiing or snowboarding. A wonderful workout and getting out of the house for a while will have you returning for more. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is lots of fun every day of the season.
