No other ski resort for 98 miles has a more towering height difference. Fun Valley gets covered by less than average snow every ski season. All the 14 trails here are exciting to ski on. The 240 foot drop from top to bottom is of course not that much to talk about, but Fun Valley has so many other perfect attributes. Fun Valley is a small-size ski area having a roughly average height difference compared to other mid west ski resorts. Fun Valley has a much lower

    than average ratio of difficult ski slopes and a much higher than average proportion of blue and green trails. This ski area has a humble selection of trails and sufficient great ski lifts to serve them all. This ski resort boasts 3 feet of good snow every winter,
and that is of course not first-rate, but not that bad either. Having a skiing land of 30 acres, it's fantastically likable and cozy. All 5 lifts at this ski mountain make for a relaxing ride up the mountain. The skiing and the snowboarding in Iowa is loads of fun every day of the snow season.
