| | Black Mountain has a comparatively humble set of ski trails and a decent sum of lifts. All of the 5 different ski lifts are perfectly looked after and operated by pleasant folks. There's 107 acres of terrain, and it's all in nice condition. The seasonal snowfall is approximately average at Black Mountain. This ski area has a height difference of 1,120 feet; it's sufficient to get some decent time on the trails between lifts. | | season. The snow blanketed peaks of the White Mountains is a vista worth seeing. Black Mountain has the largest elevation difference for 29 miles. In winter the White Mountains is a one hundred percent skiing and snowboarding paradise. There are lots of delightful places to stay to select from, but do book a room in advance of a trip given that it is a very popular destination.
