| | There's 239 acres of skiing territory, and all of it makes for magnificent skiing. You have to go 21 miles to get to a ski hill in possession of a better size altitude difference. This is a mid-size ski hill boasting a roughly average height difference compared to other east coast ski hills. All of the 5 lifts make for a relaxing ride up the mountain. Shawnee Peak gets covered by an average amount of snow every ski season. Every winter this ski hill gets 9 feet of beautiful snow, and that keeps the ski runs well covered |

all through the winter. On this mountain you'll bump into 44 different trails; there are sufficient trails for every ability. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a great thing to do the whole season. Tremendous exercise and getting out of the
| | house for a while are perfect motives to come. There are good comfortable lodgings here, but do reserve a room before heading out in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. Shawnee Peak has a much lower than average fraction of challenging runs and a much higher than average part of easy ski slopes. The 1,300 feet of elevation difference is not that shaggy; Shawnee Peak makes excellent use of it.
