This ski mountain has an ok collection of trails and a reasonable selection of lifts. You have to go 21 miles to get to a ski resort with a more sizeable elevation difference. Shawnee Peak is a mid-size ski area having a roughly average drop when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. There's 239 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for nice skiing. The yearly snowfall of 9 feet keeps the ski runs well covered through the winter. This ski hill has a much lower than average proportion of challenging ski

    slopes and a much higher than average fraction of green and blue trails. All 5 lifts at this ski mountain make for a relaxing ride up the hill. Shawnee Peak receives an average amount of snow each snow season. A great workout and spending some quality time in
the wilderness will have you returning. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are a lot of great sites for that close at hand. The 1,300 feet of elevation difference is not too shaggy; Shawnee Peak makes great use of it all. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is loads of fun all winter season long. This ski hill has 44 trails that you may ski on; there's a glorious range to suit everyone. The Maine hills in wintertime are a glorious place for skiing and snowboarding. Winter

in the mountains of Maine and the especially glorious runs make the spree here worthwhile. No deficiency of great accommodations, but do book a room previous to going as it is a very popular destination. Shawnee Peak is a great ski area with loads of different slopes; it's impossible to get bored here.
