Pine Ridge gets lighter than average snow each winter season. With a 200 foot elevation difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other great properties of Pine Ridge compensate for it. The terrain being 7 acres, it's relaxed enough to get to know all your fellow snow people. This ski resort has a comparatively     humble mixture of slopes and quite few lifts. The winter in Massachusetts is truly a glorious time of year for snowboarding and skiing. This ski mountain has 8 ski runs, and they are amusing to ski on. Pine Ridge has a much lower than average share of expert and advanced ski runs and a much higher than average proportion of beginner and intermediate slopes. Pine Ridge is a petite ski resort in possession of a pretty small-size height difference when compared to other east coast ski resorts. Getting a great workout and just being on the slopes for a while will make you feel great. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this region has scores of ski mountains.       You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far away from the base zone if you want to stay an extra day, but you'd better book before you go as these places to stay fill up swiftly. This is a family friendly ski area with lots of blue   and green slopes. Plenty of skiers travel up here from Worcester, particularly on the weekends.
