With a 200 foot altitude difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other great attributes of Pine Ridge compensate for it. With a skiable area of 7 acres, it makes for a friendly skiing experience. Every winter this ski mountain gets 6 feet of good snow, and that keeps the depth fine. or snowboarding, there are scores of glorious sites for that nearby. Pine Ridge has a much lower than average ratio of black and red slopes and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate ski trails. The 8 trails at this ski mountain are fun
| | to ski on. This is a smaller than average ski area featuring a smaller than average height difference if compared to other east coast ski resorts.
