Having 30 acres of skiable land, it's more of a cozy style ski area. This ski area has a much lower than average part of demanding trails and a much higher than average fraction of green and blue runs. This is a petite ski resort with a medium elevation difference when compared to other mid west ski areas. You have to go 99 miles to get to a ski area boasting a bigger elevation difference. The annual snowfall is in the region of average at Buena Vista. A 230 foot elevation difference is of course not that much, but all

    the other great qualities of Buena Vista compensate for it. The phenomenal 10 feet of seasonal snowfall is a tremendously magnificent coverage. This ski hill has a moderate assortment of runs and few lifts. The trailmap of Buena Vista on this internet page unsurprisingly
says a thousand words. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is lots of fun all ski season long. All the 16 runs here are totally enjoyable. Not too many rooms close by, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations, you could end up slumbering in your automobile. All of the 4 ski lifts are skillfully looked after and run by kind people. The wintertime months in Minnesota is so charming for skiing and snowboarding. A wonderful workout and an opportunity to spend some time

in the wilderness have snow folks coming here. You get many skiers traveling up here from Bemidji on snowy weekends. Buena Vista is a good place for young and old with a lot of intermediate or beginner ski runs for learners.

We do offer a higher than average number of slopes that are designed for the beginner to intermediate skier/boarder so we capitalize on that by offering an excellent snowsports school staff. We offer lessons to many, many beginners annually.
