McIntyre ski area, New Hampshire
|
| | The snow here turns truly deep, 10 feet every season, and that is one of the reasons this is such a pleasant ski area. With a 300 foot drop from top to bottom it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other wonderful features of McIntyre make up for it. This ski mountain has a fairly modest selection of ski slopes and a good selection of ski lifts. The nearest ski area in possession of a more towering drop is 26 miles away. This ski mountain has a much lower than average proportion of black and red slopes and |
|
a much higher than average proportion of green and blue ski slopes. The best piece of info on this resort is naturally the trailmap of McIntyre on this net page. McIntyre is a small ski mountain in possession of a relatively small-size drop compared to other east
| | coast ski areas. The 5 good ski lifts here are ably kept up and managed by kind folks. This ski area gets covered by snowfall close to the local average every winter. All the 11 trails here are great to ski on. A wonderful workout and getting out of the house for a while is better than anything. The skiable terrain being 15 acres, it makes for an intimate skiing experience. If you'll be sleeping in a hotel, you're in luck, hotels are offered close to the base zone, but do book a room before you go in view of the fact | |

that it is a very popular destination. The wintertime in New Hampshire is truly a great time of year for snowboarding or skiing. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is lots of fun during the season. A lot of skiers journey up here from
Manchester-Nashua, especially on the weekends. This is a pleasant ski resort for young and old with a lot of beginner and intermediate ski runs. Since you're on this page you are probably into skiing or snowboarding, either way, there are a lot of wonderful sites for that in the neighborhood.
