McIntyre has a small assortment of ski trails and a reasonable selection of different ski lifts. The good snow here becomes especially deep, 10 feet every winter, and that is an incredibly magnificent depth. This ski area has a much lower than average part of red and black slopes and a much higher than average percentage of green and blue ski trails. when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. No other ski hill for 26 miles has a more soaring height difference. The 300 foot drop from top to bottom is unsurprisingly not that much to talk about, but McIntyre has so many other fine qualities. This ski
| | hill gets covered by an average amount of snow each winter. With a skiing land of 15 acres, it's relaxed enough to get to know all your fellow folks. All of the 5 good ski lifts are nicely kept up and managed by caring people. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this neighborhood has a lot of ski resorts. No need to search hard for places to stay, but do book a room before heading out as it is a very popular destination. The winter in New Hampshire is truly a glorious time of year for snowboarding and skiing. A nice workout and getting out of the house for a while have folks coming here.
