McIntyre ski area, New Hampshire
|
| | It's very small but it's almost in the middle of the city. Very easy to get to. says Melanie.
This ski area has a somewhat modest selection of trails and a good choice of lifts. A 300 foot elevation difference is unsurprisingly not that much, but McIntyre has so many other tremendous attributes. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of advanced and expert trails and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate trails. McIntyre has the greatest drop among ski hills in a 26 mile |
|
radius. With a skiable area of 15 acres, it's extremely nice and relaxed. This is a more inviting than average ski area featuring a rather small drop when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. This is a perfect site for everyone with scores of intermediate
| | or beginner trails for novices. This is a popular ski area for skiers from Manchester-Nashua. The yearly snowfall is roughly speaking average at McIntyre. The fluffy snow here gets very deep, 10 feet yearly, and that is one of the reasons this is such a pleasant ski resort. There are 5 good ski lifts here, and they are in glorious condition. All the 11 ski runs here are glorious to ski on. Perfect exercise and getting out of the house for a while beats anything. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a | |

brilliant thing to do all snow season long. When this section of New Hampshire is covered in good snow; it is the most wonderful time of the year for skiing or snowboarding. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with
heaps of ski hills for that. There are some tremendous rooms in the neighborhood of the bottom area, and if you make reservations prior to departure, you're all set.
